There's something so beautiful about sun-kissed mountains during golden hour that always makes my heart skip a beat. Although it was a hot summer day, these two excited parents to be were such troopers, and they were so much fun to shoot! Kelly was a stunning mama to be looking so radiant against the gorgeous backdrop. I was overjoyed to be able to capture a special milestone in their lives. Stay tuned for photos of their adorable baby girl Ava!
One of my favorite places to photograph families is in the comfort of their own home. I love walking in and getting a feel for how unique each families are and it inspires me to try to capture their true spirits. The Mark Family are the sweetest people you will ever meet and I had a wonderful time documenting timeless moments in their beautiful home in Irvine, CA. You can tell baby Jackson was having a ball with all the love and attention from everyone.
I was so thrilled when Claire's mom Maggie reached out to me to have a styled shoot taken for her daughter’s 3rd birthday. She wanted the theme to be ultra girly with lots of pink, sparkles and balloons. Maggie planned the entire shoot, from baking the whimsical desserts/cake to decorating the scene. It was a beautiful day in Los Angeles at the park. Claire was smiling from ear to ear the entire time and had a blast along with her little brother Logan. How cute are the little pair?
Super excited to share Nadia + Victor's beautiful al fresco garden wedding at the UBC Botanical Gardens in Vancouver, CA! Also feeling so humbled and blessed to have this published in print on the Winter/Spring 2017 issues of Real Weddings Magazine. This wedding will always hold a special place in my heart because Nadia is a friend of mine as well as an extremely talented wedding photographer. We first met back in 2013 at a photography workshop where we immediately clicked and formed a friendship. When she had asked me to photograph her wedding a year later, I was extremely touched and overjoyed to document one of the most important days of her lives. Having met Victor on their trip to Los Angeles, I knew they were perfect for each other from the way they looked at each other to laughing at each others jokes. :)
Their magical day was brought to life by a list of incredibly talented vendors. Nadia had wanted neutral tones of ivory and blush to compliment the green natural beauty of the botanical gardens. Her BHLDN gown matched perfectly with the decor and venue. No small detail was spared and the entire day was overflowing with prettiness! Be prepared for some lush eye candy below!
What a way to end this spectacular day by dancing under cabaret string lights at dusk!
Thank you Nadia and Victor for choosing me to document this incredible day and thanks to all the vendors that helped create this epic wedding!
